Actually I have seen Klusener batting live numerous times but he was never as destructive as Klassen ( atleast against India imo ) . Klassen just breaks the game in 2-3 overs .

You are considering a man who basically did in ODIs what Klaasens does in T20s. And you are comparing in eras where the influence of T20 on pitches today has completely changed the dynamics of ODIs.
The fact you even comparing Klusener to Klaasens says a great deal about how destructive Klusener was before T20 even existed.

Yeah, Klusener was destructive but Klassen can be super destructive.
Klassen is feared so much in India that just before T20 WC Final we were discussing in our office that Klassen will destroy career of our spinners in the match which he nearly did . I am telling you from Indian pov that Klusener never had the reputation that Klassen has in India . At the moment we regard him the best player of spin in international Cricket.

When you see I typed Duncan Fearley, that alone should have sent shivers through your spine.
One thing to note here is that Klusner usually comes in after the 30th over when the ball gets discolored and hard to hit…and he still banged them.
Most of Klassen’s powerful performances comes within the 20 overs and the ball gets changed non stop to bend over backwards to the batriarchy.

Well, we definitely adjust their runs and averages more favourably, as we should. Like, Kohli and Sachin are close, despite one averaging 14 runs more, scoring more centuries in much less matches and at a higher on paper SR (which again, Sachin gets much more credit for batting faster).

Klaasen is scary. Also a technically sounder batsman than Klusener who was a bludgeoner.
