So where did I say that?

All I said was it was understandable that a home nation will organise itself the easier set of fixtures.

The 2 semis should IMO be on consecutive days in this Tournament.

No you did not say that explicitly, but that's what I thought you implied when you were saying it was "understandable" when it was the home side setting the schedules and "unfair" when the ICC did the job.

No its not undestandable and its unfair.

Yes.

I never said it was fair, only that if it's a Tournament organised by a nation I can understand why they schedule it to help them sleves - it'd be stupid to do it any other way!

Why would it be stupid to do it any other way ? Schedules can be pretty even handed and to muck around with them to mess up the guests while keeping the hosts in good cheer is the most unfair thing to do and something that should be criticized from all quarters. Why is it not based on a lucky draw kind of thing ? The scheduling and the spacing between matches should be based on a template agreed upon at the ICC level and all the member nations should adhere to it including the ICC ;)

At the moment there are no guidelines, so you can hardly blame the home boards for helping their own as they know when they travel away they will get penalised!

They help their own by making helpful wickets etc. which is justifiable because a touring side is visiting the host's home and the home is as it is.But to put bugs in the tourists beds so that they cannot sleep can be hardly called a hospitable act ? That is the reason why home countries can be blamed and should be taken to task for messing around with schedules. And the most recent memory of such an improper act was displayed by the English board for the Natwest trophy. And yes others have been guilty too on this count over the years.

This only happened twice in the NatWest, once each to India and Sri Lanka, and both teams won their second match in the back-to-back games...

And to fit the Tournament into that time period two back-to-back games were necessary.

Well yes wher were we. Kenya, while not technically very sound (expected), are more than just minnows. In 4-5 years, if they continue in the same fashion, they could find themselves somewhere.

Who won the matches is beside the point.

But none could involve England...eh ??

Why not - like I say, they're the home team so have the right to have things like that in their favour!

And why do you think the home team should get this most unfair advantage ? If schedules favouring somebody is wrong...its wrong.Period.Otherwise why bitch about it at all.

Owing to the time span for the Tournament, it was always going to favour one team. As home team, they are entitled to use home advantage. How many times do I have to say it?

However, every nation organising such Tournaments do the same so it all evens itself out in the end.

Personally I just think it's fair game as they are the home side.

I'm sick of England pandering to tourists every need (prime example being playing Sri Lanka in a one off Test at The Oval in late August!)

Now that you really called it being fair, which I thought you were alluding to in the first place, although you denied.....I don't have anything else to say.Speaks volumes about your idea of fairness.

"Fair game" means something completely different top "fair"

"Fair game" was meaning that since everyone else does it, why not do it.
