That's doesn't prove he was poor against spinners. He dominated a lot of them.

We all know SriLankan and Indian spinners didn't like the cricket balls they were presented to play within each country. Murali averages 45 in India. Kumble 44 and Harbhajan 40 in SL. At home they averaged sub 25 against same opposition.
Dravid never dominated Murali. Struggled in SL where Murali had a Kookaburra to bowl with. Even when bowlin with SG Dravid played Murali safe. Never dominated.
Same as what Barrington did with pace. Didn't dominate. To his credit unlike Dravid against spin, rarely struggled against them too.

This is not an excuse. Murali hated bowling with SG. There is no other way to explain why these bowlers suceed only at home against same batsmen, on very similar pitches.
