Two top 25 bowlers
Garner better than both though.yeah miller the better batter IMO so just comparing their bowling
10-15mph quicker? Will have to go for Keith Miller here. Miller could do everything that Robert could + he was at least 10-15 miles faster.
Roberts was quick - let us say 140k/87mph as a benchmark average in his prime. 10-15 on that means 100mph.Didn't he bowl close to 100mph?
Wasn't Robert around 80-85 mph mark?Roberts was easily Donald level quick if not more so 155+ at his fastest. Now way Miller was as fast as him. Much less 12mph faster than him.
As Benaud who also played with Miller puts it right, Miller at times was quicker than Lindwall when he wanted to be. Lindwall was a Great athlete as well including running 100 Yard in 10.6 plus also played rugby league.Didn't he bowl close to 100mph?
Great post. So we can agree that Miller would be bowling 95 mph and close to 100mph on occasions right? As Benaud who also played with Miller put its right, Miller at times was quicker than Lindwall when he wanted to be. Here’s Lindwall for that matter,
Well it depends on the studies but No. He was as fast as Holding and close to Thomson.Wasn't Robert around 80-85 mph mark?
Low 90s definitely, when he wanted to.Great post. So we can agree that Miller would be bowling 95 mph and close to 100mph on occasions right?
Why does the pace reduce with each study? Did the studies get more and more accurate over time?Well it depends on the studies but No. He was as fast as Holding and close to Thomson.

Maybe just me, but does no one notice how close the keeper and cordon are. Could be the camera angle, but the keeper looks awful close. So unless wicketkeeping standards were just that amazing back then, he doesn't look to be that quick judging from this admittedly very short video.Didn't he bowl close to 100mph?
Here's what Benaud says about him. May be the keeping/fielding standards back then were much superior.Maybe just me, but does no one notice how close the keeper and cordon are.
