Kazoholic & C_C - An Official Complaint

It annoys me too, people are typing up a response so they can go back and delete the "err" or "umm" from the start of their post. Quite often it is used as a tool to patronise/ humiliate whoever they are debating with though.

C_C & Kazoholic have both been banned for three days in relation to the behaviour mentioned.

Fiery was banned for seven days for continued abuse towards other members.
I must say my faith in the CW moderation staff continues to be strong.

(Don't suppose you could give Fiery 14?) :D

I must say, I didn't think Fiery's comment was worthy of a banning. But given his past behaviour, it is to be expected. Pleased that the moderators took some serious action against C_C and Kazaholic though, well done.

Can we get the Hayden thread re-opened now? Awesome player who is in the form of his life, deserves to be re-opened imo.

BARNES OUT
Surely the fact that Fiery has a prior 7 day ban should give him a longer ban? Isn't that repeated offences sort of thing that got Borcich banned for a month?

But C_C only copped a 3-dayer. Dual-accounting on such a short ban would be plain madness and would only increase the disdain for him.

In any case, the Hamilton B account has been around since waaaaaaay before anyone even suggested C_C and KaZo get banned. It was created on the 21st.

What a great idea 8-) lets everyone ignore every second thread because it involves a tedious, monotonous debate between X and Y.

It really quite annoys me when people say "don't open this thread if you know its..." because to me it's quite clear that is NOT the idea of the forum. If everyone took that attitude, as i said before, we might as well ignore 50-60% of the threads in Cricket Chat because they DO involve arguments such as those you and tec had, and now more recently, C_C & Kazoholic.

If we did that, we might as well have the 1 thread called say Richard v TEC or C_C v Kazoholic where the rest of us offer topics for you to debate, and then we all watch as you disect each others argument sentence by sentence.

I don't mind it if it's on topic and relevant, but so often it's nothing of the sort. Threads that had potential, or were great before hand, such as the Matty Hayden Thread, are then screwed over because of a select 2/3 posters who find it relevant to argue about which exact date Sachin Tendulkar started to suffer from the pressure placed upon him, and take up pages to do so.
Dude, calm down. I don't have a problem with such an idea, you do - fair noof.

There are threads I don't bother with for several reasons - the fact that it's going too fast is one of them.

Oh, and Kyle did create a thread, TIC, which was supposed to be for me and tec. But as anyone who's read every post of such debates knows, ie just the two of us, that'd be simply untenable.

Whatever it takes!!!
The sad thing is, I rate both of them very high as posters and it is a pity that things should come to such a pass. I just wish both handle their debates with a little bit more maturity.

Me too, and on that note I wish to apologise to the whole forum - or those that read this thread at least.

I am not one to really go for name-calling, although I can be confrontational. My problem with C_C extends beyond these trivial debates but I shall not rehash those. I sincerely apologise if anyone felt bothered and, even though it got funny, it was a poor representation of the members on this forum. It was a deserved ban and I accept my part.
