Kane's home conditions&opposition schedule are both too gentle for him to have a bad decline but the relatively small role physical attributes play in his game also helps. His 2019-2024 record v decent attacks isn't great.

With two tests in Zimbabwe and three tests at home to WI I sincerely hope Williamson pushes his average up towards 60. Exaggerating the gap in averages between Williamson and Kohli will make everyone who thinks Kohli > Williamson look like utter goobers (which they are already tbf).

As much as I support the sentiment I hope that neither Williamson nor Conway are picked to tour Zimbabwe. I'm sure there'll be a T20 league to play in. It is more important to give Rhys Mariu a chance.

I'd like to see a top 3 of
1. Latham
2. Mariu
3. Young

Ideally we'd have a different opener rather than Latham too, but that wouldn't happen.

Nah Kane should play – be great for Zimbabwe to have him tour. If he's available, that is.

His 251 in 2020 came against a perfectly good attack sans Chase (but Williamson bullies spin at home no matter who it is). Everyone else except for Latham who scored 86 struggled.
Roach averages over 40 away and Holder's record in Oceiana is very bad. Gabriel bowled quite well on that tour at least.
