Stats are just one facet. Like I said, take a look at the way they actually bat in the present day, and you be the judge of who looks "better" or more elegant. No doubt you will say ponting

Ok, well let's assume that England fans also watch England play in SA. Steyn's record against England overall then?
I understand why people rate players lower when they don't perform against the team they support/watch a lot, but you'd think that'd not be the case considering what Kallis has done vs. England.
Kallis vs. England > Steyn vs. England.
