Nah, it's twelve hours to make a pick before people can jump in. It was just 12 when Tharmi went, and now it's 20 hours, and Julien still hasn't come on, so I reckon we carry on, and Julien can jump in whenever he comes on.

I think in the initial post I said that demoted repicks slotted in ahead of that round's repicks, but subsequently I changed it to the demoted repick comes after that round's repicks - ie. the order Hak linked. The round 9 repicks go, and then Somerset's pick.

The reason I was so late is that the last time I had a chance to look I made my previous post. I needed confirmation from Matt before I could pick.

I think the round 8 repick should be before the player announcements for this round.

It's an advantage to know what everyone else picks for round 9 to make your pick in round 8 IMO. The pick can be thought about and fill a gap that the picker didn't realise they had.

Also, the longer you leave it the easier it is to work out who any unbanned players are who people might have left because they assumed they were banned.

I say we force him to pick someone before round 9 results are added. 3 rejects and he gets a random player from statsguru.

Can't go changing rules all the time. He should pick before the round 9 re-picks. But it doesn't make much difference.
