I prefer 3 and 3 quarters ;)
Marc told me that Faulkner would only be a support bowler, so i gather that Rhodes would also be a support bowler as he bowled less overs them Faulkner per game. So you would have two front line bowlers, two support bowlers and whatever Steve Waugh rated as. So it looks like runs, runs and more runs from my opinion.

I still think my bowling attack could bowl you out twice, unless their is dramatic change to the pitch wear, if i only have to bat once.

I might have to put some thought into my declarations, if people are going into matches with three bowlers at home against me. :D
Meh, just take a whole pile of quality all-rounders and kill two birds with one stone :p

Grant Flower was named today as the NZ Blazers 16th and final draft pick. He fills the mandatory role of a player from each squad requiring to be either from Zimbabwe or Bangladesh.

Welcome aboard Grant. Fingers crossed I am not forced to use you this season.

I'm sure he can't wait to play for you, either :p

I am sure he will be honoured to be even training with players like Hammond, Sutcliffe, Dujon, Ironmonger, Trueman etc. :D

Rumour has it that manager Blaze has told a couple of his squad members that they are likely to be traded if an opportunity arises where he sees a player that he thinks would fit in with the current squad better than they do.

'Obviously we will be keeping an open mind when it comes to trading and we can't rule out anything at this stage but to say that I have told 2 members of my squad that they are on borrowed time is ludicrous, we haven't even assembled as a team yet and I haven't made any decisions about what we will be looking for in terms of trading' said an angry Blaze.

Stay tuned for more.

Manager Blaze today confirmed that the following list of players are safe at the Blazers and have little chance of being traded.

G Smith
W Hammond
H Sutcliffe
K Barrington
I Ul-Haq
F Trueman
CTB Turner
B Ironmonger
PJL Dujon

'Obviously these 9 players are the core of my team. They are all likely to play in every game that they are fit and avaliable for and therefore I see no way in which they can be traded bar a very persuasive offer' said Blaze.

'Idealy I want a stronger batsman at 6. Someone who averages 45+. I have a couple of decent bowlers who are effectively on the trade market in Sajjad and Johnston so we will see what happens' Blaze said when asked if any trades are likely.

Manager Blaze proved today that you shouldn't trust his word when negotiations are the topic after he traded Fred Trueman whom he said wan't avaliable for trading. He also said goodbye to Pervez Sajjad and Nathan Aslte in a 3 way swap with the Jets.

The Blazers picked up CF Walters, B Taylor and Bill O'Reilly in return.
