Shoaib at his best was a demigod. Pretty underrated. I think Akhtar vs Broad/Willis is a great matchup.

probably, Broad is much higher in the hierarchy of English bowlers than Laker though I reckon, so Shoaib has to run a gauntlet to get there, this is the bottom level.

I am surprised that Shoaib played against 9 opponents and in 10 countries despite playing just 46 Tests. He even played a test in Sharjah

Laker for me. Arguably in the top 5 spinners of all time. Akthar not in the top 30 fast bowlers or at best barely makes it. Even if the ratio of fast bowlers being more than spinners is emphasized, still Laker would win.
