DrWolverine

U19 Debutant
Dennis Lillee - The spearhead of his team who had a huge impact on fast bowling in general but he has quite a few holes in his record.

Joel Garner - A well rounded and an almost perfect record and the toughest bowler to score runs against but he was always second fiddle

Cricketer Of The Year
Volume matters, also Lillee was the man, Garner always the no. 2.
Also and likely most important, Lillee was the GOAT for more than a decent part of Garner's career.
Granted. Garner had a better record across conditions, especially in the Pakistani pitches that made Lillee cry. It's actually close between the two and I will learn Garner rn.

Johan

State Vice-Captain
Garner when he got to open the bowling —

127 wickets from 26 games and 49 innings, average of 20.22, Strike rate of 45.9, 5 fifers and the best of 9/108

he clearly could lead

And unfortunately didn’t get to open the bowling until 84. And this stretch is probably quite underrated due to bowling alongside the greatest fast bowler of all time during his peak.
