Pretty excited for the ITM Cup season to start actually. Predicting a close contest to start things off. Very interested to see how the new rules (and they are new rules, not just new interpretations) affect things, especially the 5 second time limit to clear the ball once stationary at a ruck, and the new scrum engagements with just three calls all of which are one syllable.

Pretty poor stuff from the Bay so far. Not the best refereeing so far, but some atrocious handling at times.

Superb try that. Horrell's been so impressive this season, after appearing at least to me anyway as no more than a decent ITM Cup player last year.

Well, they beat Canterbury in pre-season too, but certainly the odds at the TAB had Tasman as rank outsiders, but really Canterbury were soundly beaten.
