Hahahahaha They certainly bowled better than Mcgrath, Donald, Waseem, Waqar etc.
and how many of those happen to be part of the same attack?its amazing how you put 4 quality bowlers like as though they were part of a foursome. and perhaps you havent even taken into account the pitches that they've bowled to tendulkar on when he score those centuries.

If they were that bad then they would all get out cheaply so he'd have no partners.
in the same way if their bowling was that bad(with 2 quality bowlers)wouldnt teams abroad always score 700 runs against them?

P.S, Check your facts out, the the thread says "IS TENDULKAR A CHOKER", if my posts is not in reference with the thread, than what is?
dont see how a bunch of centuries against all the teams when india have one proves that he isnt a choker. and then you said "so his centuries are effective most of the time"...again does this prove that he isnt a choker....im sorry but this has no relevance to this thread unless you're trying to prove to me that tendulkar is a great odi batsman.(a point that im familiar with)

You keep on saying Flat Track bully, so he scored more on flat Tracks (according to you)..so what. Don't the bowlers rely on piches all the time, so if a particular bowler takes more wickets on a bowler-friendly pitch but fails on another..what would you call him....Seam/spin/bouncy track bully?
so would you happen to call this so and so who fails to get wickets in non seaming conditions as "great"??then i totally agree with you and matthew hoggard is also great!

Tell you what, its his presence..that others around him play comfortably. I can bet you till date, indian crickets fans won't be sure of winning a match until they see his name in the 11.
have i ever said that he shouldnt be in the 11?or that he isnt a good player?no my point is that he isnt great and his average is about 10 runs more than it deserves to be. tendulkar is a good batsman and believe it or not if i were an indian selector hed be the first person in my team.

I can remember reading this article but I don't remember his average being so low outside the sub-continent, chasing>230 and in recent finals. This has opened my eyes a bit. I'm definitly not going to say that Tendulker is a choker but he doesn't seem (to me) to rise to the challenge when the heat is on as much as other great batsmen of today eg. Ponting.

..So are u finishing the sentences or starting a new book. I like your style of saying "bunch of centuries:, as if it was something in the bangalore fish market.

I see your OPINION sans the PI, so it stinks like one and is terrible to peel again and again to reach a verdict. In addition to being a Quotemaster, I wish you luck in your endeavors.

P.S You can take all the time to quote me as I am in US EST, so you have about 8-10 hours to have a rehearsal

again i dont see you're point here....ive never doubted that he isnt a great ODI player so i dont see any reason why you should absurd statements like these. if you're waiting for me to say that hes the best ODI batsman in the game or a great test batsman well then you better lie down.

On a Wednesday when he had Kippers for breakfast and Brie Fritters in the mid-innings interval.

There are many, You just need an IQ to figure that out. But with an IQ of Richard Blakey(Remember him ?) I doubt you will be able to figure anything out

And in last few years(Since 2000) How many finals he has played Outside the subcontinent where India has chased a score > 230 ?? My guess is not more than 5.

So you are basically going to Judge a player who has played 333 matches in the basis of those 4-5 games ??

Ponting in All Finals :- http://statserver.cricket.org/guru/...edhigh=;csearch=;submit=1;.cgifields=viewtype

Really ?? He worked hard for every one of his runs, It wasn't gifted to him on a silver platter. Who the **** are you to declare that he doesn't deserve this average. It's very easy for jealous folks like you who dont know how to hold a bat to make stupid remarks like that. It's okay that you feel he is a choker but to say that he doesn't deserve his average is highly stupid.

If your country had a batsman like him, He would have been declared the best batsman ever, better than Bradman or every other past, present or future batsmen. ;). But , Only if you had a batsmen like him.
