Is McGrath finished?

My sincerest apologies. :D
If I had known it was such an onorous (sp?) task I would naturally not have dreamt of questioning why it had not happened. :)

I'm no expert on administrating an internet site but surely changing that can't be that difficult! :) Please.
Yes, but there's also a hell of a lot more to CW than just these forums.

I believe we're easily one of the biggest 10 sites.

I presume your talking cricket websites there.
That's conceivable; somehow I doubt we're one of the top 10 websites in the whole WWW.

And with lots of hard work we can be up there Cricinfo one day perhaps.

The question is, will he ever be fit?
After several lay-offs, he apparently made a largely irrelevant winter series against Bangladesh - now a similar situation appears likely again. What happens after the Zimbabwe tour? Another lay-off that takes twice as long as we thought to end?
Let's just wait and see.

Well at 34, these things take longer to heal then at 25.

Once CA is satisfied with his fitness, you would think he would be back.

McGrath may have missed playing in the S Waughs last test, but at least he will get into the FC game with him.

hmm, atm... he has bowled 7 overs...6 maidens..no wickets for 1 run... now tell me that isn't good?!

he's been bowling just as good as he was before...he's back...no doubt about it.

"Glenn McGrath was wicketless in his return to first-class cricket, although his 0-26 from 17 overs suggested he was near unplayable.

But that wasn't quite the case.

The veteran quick regularly pitched harmlessly outside off stump and, while he did beat the bat on a few occasions, he rarely threatened."

But you see the problem? He bowls apparently poorly - 17 wicketless overs - but look at his figures at the end of the innings.
I don't mind it in domestic cricket, but in internationals it's exactly what I'm talking about.

That sounds like the way he bowled in the West Indies.
