IPL 2025 retentions / mega auction

No England players retained today. Does that increase the liklihood that Buttler / Livingstone or Salt / Wood might have to play for Lancashire?

Also noticed this:

Players who pull out of the IPL at short notice will be banned from taking part in the following two seasons in a new rule introduced by the IPL.

The rule will impact any player who signs up for an auction and is picked, but pulls out before the start of the season if not for "injury or medical condition".

England players have a habit of doing this e.g. Gus Atkinson, Mark Wood, David Willey and Harry Brook were all among those to pull out of the IPL last year.

Are they less likley to put themselves forward?

Mega Auction sometime in November.

Don't see Smith, Garry, Bairstow, Mo or Williamson getting deals. I doubt Rashid will either if he puts himself forward.
