Ravi has always been a useful enough t20 player, would he be playing if they had full confidence in all of the Indian batsmen and bowlers? Probably not, but those are the breaks.

No he's generally a liability with the bat because he scores too slowly and his bowling is only any use in particular circumstances - such as ****ty slow pitches during the middle overs, which fortunately is what he gets to play on a fair bit.

Johnson and Marsh sent home, understandable with Mitch as all he was doing was providing LOLS for the opposition, but Marsh wasn't as awful.

It would be nice for Chennai to do the same with Henry, 2 seasons with them and no chance of a game bar injuries. Let him prepare for the England series.

It's always funny to me that maxwell's bowling is so underutilised in his domestic T20 teams when he is pretty much used as the main spinner in international LO when australia isn't playing a dedicated spinner. Somewhat justified too.

It's like when he bowls the good overs his teams feel like they got away with bowling him.

Henriques has been very impressive. Can't remember if he's in the Ashes squad but he'd be a useful reserve.

When ipl was launched it received many negative criticism that its not a good model for cricket, but just see how good it is doing now.Where are those people now? Cricket is something that will always work in India.Even after so much traps of scams, politics and betting it is still sailing nicely, i expect a better future of this format of the game.

He bowled pretty well in the last over to be fair. Those were some brilliant shots played by Kohli. Squeezed fours out of good yorker balls.
