Indoor cricket stadium possibility in sunny Manchester.

Just read proposals of a possible indoor cricket stadium being built in Manchester,
as part of the Old Trafford regeneration, they are looking at the one proposed in Tasmania to see how that pans out,

probably pie in the sky but you never know, and it would be a fantastic addition to Englands cricket stadia.
and a bonus its not in London,

thoughts any one,

It’s an interesting concept

not sure how a game completely under a closed roof would progress

would the wicket stay the same throughout apart from bowlers and batsmen marks on the pitch ?

would the playing area be as flat as a snooker table ?

no running up an incline to to the crease etc

how high would the roof be ?

is it an early April fools joke ?

All good questions, only time will tell if it goes ahead, the technology is their to be able do it.
