Technically very sound. I cant find too many faults and he has truckloads of potential.

Only fault he tends to stand up a little early, but Rod Marsh and Ian Healy made plenty of fumbles early on in their career.

When Kumble bowled Gilchrist on 43, Patel had missed a stumping on 14, the Indian players when their hudle formed all patted him on the back. That will help his confidence greatly.

His batting is soliod and he can hang in there.

parthiv sucks. he misses atleast 2 stumping chances in a match. he just missed gilchrist's stumping chance. had that happened, aus would have been out for less than 160.

parthiv isnt a good batsman either.

also neil, about that 6 against the wi u-19, he would have hit it into the shortest boundary of the ground. also he would have scored quickly only due to poor windian fielding.
