Usually only international series are sticked and domestic comps aren't.

it should be the amount of interest it generates as far as i am considered just check the post count so far
and it last only one month not that it will remain there for 3-4 months....

And cricket web itself gives it more importance than other FC matches...do we have fantasy cricket for any other domestic competition ????

I just saw the video for Kings XI Punjab. It's very immature, to begin, and while you would love the ambience initially, the ad is all about Preity Zinta and Daler Mehndi dancing, and a ball landing in Jammu. Except for the scene in Jammu and the lion's roar, this ad is disappointing.

It should just be based on interest as some have pointed out, the forum isn't here to prioritise what cricket matters and what doesn't, but rather give posters the best access to post about what they want to post about on a daily basis.

Not that big an issue obviously, but I'd encourage CW to think about sticking this, or the match threads.

40 days to go for the trading window to open.

News from the MI is that Pollock wants to retire from all cricket and take up commentating. They're trying their hardest to keep him for one more season at the least.

Also, Mumbai making concerted efforts to rope in Zaheer Khan from the Bangalore Challengers and Rohit Sharma from the Deccan Chargers. I'm not too sure the Chargers will let go of their second highest scorer from last season quite so easily, but the Challengers could benefit from letting go of Zaheer and bringing in a quality bastman to inject some urgency in their batting.

My guess is that most of the trades will involve overseas players, since the teams will be reluctant to let go of quality Indian players who are not restricted by the 4 per team rule, and thus would play each and every game.

Does anyone have any idea at what point would the English players make an entry (if the ECB gets their knickers unbunched, that is)? Would there be a second auction or will the trading window be used to sign them up without an open auction?

Challengers are there for the taking. Mallya will do anything to bring in bigger and better players so he'd be willing to way overpay to achieve it.

Haha, right, Dravid being ICON player and earning 15% more than the highest successful bid was a cruel joke.

Warne deserves much more and I think he's getting it with him being the captain and coach. What a champ.
