Does it. Neesham just did enough and let JP do his magic. First Neesham's 6 off Chawla brought them back, and then he survived the Narine over which was critical. Also managed to get bat on ball against Chawla to ensure that at least JP was on strike if he got caught.

Obviously JP is the superstar (WAFG) but sometimes the non-striker can lose the game for you. Here Neesham just did enough. Good on him.

nothing wrong with cheerleading at all, but why does an India team recruit a bunch of American girls to cheerlead for them? There's a very obvious implied ***uality and objectification coming from the name and cheerleading in nature. While that's not an issue in and of itself, the message between the lines is that Indian women shouldn't be subjected to the same ***ualisation and objectification as foreign women. i.e. mischief is only ok for white women. At the same time, it questions the morals of foreigners while perpetuating the inhibition of Indian women. I'm not sure which is sadder.

this is all well and good but this would have been an issue regardless of what they were wearing, and would have been an issue five years ago too. seems odd to bring it up in relation to that one photo.
