indian pitches?

got a question about pitches during this icc tournment. why is that most of the pitches have been good for bowling. On Indian pitches teams usually batted very well and scored 300+ scores. but whats happening in this tournment? did they do something to the pitches?

I think that maybe they are the same pitches but in one day cricket they are hard to score quick on because the ball doesn't come very quick so the batsman always has to force it whereas in test matches the batting side usualy scores really slowly but bat for a long time because the pitch is so slow it's hard for the bowlers to bowl something that'll dismiss the batsman.

Weren't our pitches always prepared for spinners and batsmen (no need to explain why), so like what happened in this tournament? They should just always always prepare pitches for spinners, that's the only way we can win.

To hell with that. They should prepare tracks that are tough for the batsmen all over India so we can finally have hope of having a team that can compete with the best all over the world. I'm sick of this "home-soil success" bull****.

Yeah would love to see that but whats the chance of that happening.
I bet all the domestic teams will be getting their usual pitches.

That's what has been happening the last couple of years...there's been a push from the BCCI to introduce pitches that offer a lot more to the pace bowlers.

The control preparing pitches for this tournament is the hands of ICC,not BCCI.So,ICC are preparing bowler friendly or the pitches where there's even contest between bat & ball rather than traditional batting friendly Indian wickets.
