I remember reading that somewhere else but cricbuzz too says that he is rested. Anyways, we all know Kohli will bring Rohit back soon even if he is dropped.

the only bright spot of resting Nohit against Afghanistan to bring him back in England is that he won't get a chance to cash in on the relatively easier runs, and his average should further plummit.

Would like to see this lineup. I think Rahul will be fine at 6 when we feel comfortable with 4 bowlers. Not sure why openers are rarely ever batted out of position in cricket but it needs to start.

Saha is OK. Why do you want him replaced when he has just started looking the part? Still a very shaky starter as a batsman and not someone who'd stall a middle order collapse, but his keeping has been excellent. Dhoni was never that great as a Test batsman, a liability with bat and gloves away from home and captained badly as well in Tests overseas.

@BW Think it's pretty obvious he did play with an injury. It sucks but most fans will not share our disappointment at him prioritizing the IPL over county. Most fans would rather watch him play t20 than prepare for a test series a small minority of them will watch.
