Now that I have calmed down: He needs to work on his shot selection. Obviously a player who is used to doing whatever the **** he wants to do and was good enough to get away with it. A season in domestic should probably sort it out. But then again he will get a IPL contract soon which would probably hurt more than help.

Also curious to see how he deals with short pitched stuff.. Don't think anybody tried that against him in the first innings either.

They barely have lead! I do not agree with this at all.

You don't need to know Hindi to know what the commentator is ranting about haha. Needless to say, the English word 'negative' keeps leaping out.

Nah they had a 100 run lead after the first innings wrapped up.

If it's a draw from here, they've won. Mumbai are the ones who need to chase the victory, Gujarat can be contend sitting there.

This rule is heavily criticised; but it's there, and fair play to Gujarat for using it.

No lead now I'm afraid, and Mumbai have started playing shots.

All they've done is allow Mumbai back into the game!

2nd innings scores don't count man

Once it's a draw, all that matters is the first innings scores. And Gujarat had the first innings lead. So if it's a draw, they have won. Second innings onwards is irrelevant.

So all you have to do in the Ranji Trophy is get a 1st innings lead then block the hell out of the game - and you've won?
