I might actually drop Jadeja.

Bumrah-Umesh-Ashwin-Axar-Kuldeep.

With that attack we can still win despite our batting being in shambles.

Thinking of dropping Jadeja should be worth a ban IMO. Mods?

No doubt about that. But Jadeja and Hardik are looked at as proper all-rounders whereas Axar's role is similar to Ashwin's(a bowling AR who can chip in some useful runs with the bat).

Jadeja's bit of a spent force as a bowler. just sort of darts them in these days, which tbf is what he's always done. Should still get the job done on Indian pitches but Axar's a more penetrating option.

Obviously Jadeja as batsman alone is worth all of his 65 kilos in gold in this shithouse batting lineup.

No news regarding Bumrah... I doubt he will be fit enough in time for the test series.

And jadeja might not be 100% either, especially for the initial tests. So he might not even play, although I'd want him to play even as a batting all-rounder with a reduced bowling load.

Bumrah's got videos out on social media of him bowling in nets/practice. Wouldn't worry about anything Test related right at the moment, the BGT is still quite a fair bit away.

Guys, both Bumrah and Jadeja have started training in nca now. They both will play in BG series. Nothing to worry.
