This is such a terrible news.Bumrah out of T20 World Cup. When and where are we doing the mass suicide?

Yes his action is very demanding on the back. I don't see him lasting past 32-33 with this action of his.Couldn't be arsed about the World Cup, the back injury is very worrying long-term
No matter what combination you play without Bumrah, it sucks.Maybe this will allow us to play Harshal, Chahar, Arshdeep, Ash and Axar. The attack we had yesterday.
Maybe but this will suck far less than having Bhuvi and Chahal in the side, even with Bumrah. No matter what combination you play without Bumrah, it sucks.
I think it would be our best attack in the circumstances.Surely you need Shami in there in Bumrah's absence, though I reckon they'll play Bhuvneswar as the veteran option. That seam attack is incredibly green otherwise.
Our main issue is death bowling. Shami can't fix it, although his style of bowling can work in Australia. Still feel Avesh's hit-the-deck pace bowling would have helped but he really tanked in the last few games that he played.Surely you need Shami in there in Bumrah's absence, though I reckon they'll play Bhuvneswar as the veteran option. Harshal will need to fine-tune his bowling, but he can be a headache on bigger grounds with his smart change of pace so I am quite OK with him and Arshdeep handling the death overs in WC. The only issue is, if one of them gets injured, we'll be in deep trouble.I was very positive that when Arse and Bum play together we would have death bowling covered. Those 2 are rare bowlers good both with new ball and at death. Now we have to fallback on Harshal who has reputation for being a good death bowler but little to show for in non IPL games.

Despite of the help for leggies on Australian pitches, I still hope we go with Ash and Axar coz they can even bowl in the power plays if required and offer a lot more flexibility compared to Chahal who needs the easiest overs in the middle overs to get any kind of success. Their batting ability also frees up the other batters to attack with more freedom.

This lineup offers enough variety with the ball while also strengthening our batting.
