Yes he doesn't get injured but that's easy to do when you come back for your 2nd and 3rd spells 20k down in pace, which is what he does every single test. You don't get to claim longevity as a strength if you're half-arsing it.

He hasn't particularly tightened his bowling such that he could increase the pressure, hasn't added an outswinger, hasn't put on a kilo of muscle.

He hasn't even had a haircut ffs.

The dude is brainless and hasn't improved at all, but from all accounts he works his ass off and he's a very committed individual.

This was one of the most unexpected away wins for India and the fact that it came against the legendary West Indies, makes this match even more memorable for Indian cricket fans. Gundappa Vishwanath hit a century as well, with Brij Patel playing the supporting role as India created history by chasing a target of 406 with 6 wickets in hand. This happened because the Windies attack was made up of decent to average spinners, and Gavaskar and Vishy were gods at playing those bowlers.
