Weird Australia struggled so much. Was the squad ill-selected or was it just bad form?

EDIT: Although I do wonder if Australia are just under-rated by the sim as well.

On raw numbers alone, I'd probably say that Australia are the strongest team in this comp. I was kinda worried they were gonna run away with it before the tournament began tbh & felt you were doing the other players a charity when you selected your 1995-spec squad. Obvs Hayden & Martyn would have strengthened your side, but as it is, Australia underperformed massively here. Without giving too much away, players like Ponting, the Waughs, McGrath & Warne are all top-echelon players numerically & are about as good as you'd expect them to be, whilst the rest of your players range from good to very good. Those injuries to your bowlers in the middle rounds did you no favours though.
