Recollecting from that detailed thingy I read regarding player ratings, I remember the following things are considered while apportioning rating points for a particular innings of a batsman -
Some points I am not very confident about are the following
- State of pitch at the time batsman arrived and at the time he departed (I think they use the runs per wicket metric for that - my guess)
- State of pitch on the whole
- Relative performance of batsman's team (RpW without batsman's individual score)
- ICC ratings of Opposition team
- ICC ratings of Opposition bowlers
- Relative performance of batsman in the whole game (RpW of both teams without batsman's individual score)
- Result of game
- Runs scored in the Test with greater weightage given to second innings performance than first innings (the corresponding point in the OP is slightly misleading there. As far as I know the rating points are calculated at the end of the Test and not at the end of the innings. For ODO's it's alright)
Some points I am not very confident about are the following
- Partnerships he was involved in (more points for partnerships with lower order)
- FoW when he arrived and when he departed
- Percentage of runs he scored for the team when he was at the crease
