Zimbabwe needed to bounce back with a win & they managed to met the maximum amounts of points against a struggling UAE. Group B getting spicy.

Who's going to progress from Group B is any anyone's guess. A Narine-led rout in the fourth innings sees T&T score a dramatic win. ten Doeschate continues to shine & Seelaar finally gets a bowl, whilst Barath shows off some of his best form up top.

So group A should be Bangladesh 1st, HK/Barbados competing for 2nd, and Jamaica all but out of the running?

We've got to play Bangladesh next. Goddamn.

Jamaica can still make it if they win big against Barbados & BD beats HK heavily.

Even with a spinner short Guyana chalk up a hard-earned win under the Afghani sun & keep their campaign alive. Afghanistan now need a solid win next up to be in the running for a finals berth.

Incredible fightback from the Scots. Coetzer & Watson completely took the game away from the Namibians. Namibia once again falter in the fourth innings & now need results to swing their way to have any chance of making the finals here.

That's an astonishing chase from the Scots.

Wales proving under-rated as hell. They probably beat Afghanistan if Croft doesn't go down and they easily account for Kenya.

The Windwards & Leewards prevail in a low scoring dogfight, a win which keeps Group D wide open as well. Amazingly, all 16 teams can still theoretically qualify for the finals. Those who don't of course still get to try their luck in the Plate comp.

That's better! Shillingford made a real impact off the bench. The AI doesn't seem to rate Tonge's bowling - I might need to beef up our batting instead.

Time to take a look at the tournament standings. Should any teams end up on the same amounts of points at the end of the group stage, quotient will come into play.
