I would, but the laptop with ICC on it has imploded and is in the repair shop unfortunately
I've found this to be true in ICC a lot. I only play ICC 2002 but any time I'm bowling my main guys and they get belted around, bringing on someone with almost no previous bowling history can often prove fruitful. I've had weird instances of people who have never bowled before taking 4- or 5-wicket hauls in 3-4 overs which is pretty ridiculous hehe...I've also found extremely part time bowlers go quite well if everyone else is getting tonked. A few seasons ago I gave Jacques Rudolph 2 overs in desperation and he ended up taking 4fer (4 in one over after the first conceded 2). Next few matches used him as first backup bowler and he did really well, now he's part of the main bowling attack in T20s and often outperforms the specialists.
I'm not really a fan of part time bowlers to be honest, though did use James Hildreth quite often on ICC 3 as a partnership breaker if all else failed. Rudolph might as well be an allrounder on ICC because I've heard of several people using him quite effectively with the ball.I might have a go sometime soon, as I've got nothing happening after Monday.
What tactics do you guys use for T20? I always try and bowl first regardless, because chasing seems so much easier. I also often rest my in form players so they don't lose form, and play reserve or youth players. It often goes okay because it's a shorter format.
