We need a new spinner. Keedy is ancient and can still do a job in ODIs but when i bowled him in tests he was useless. Get a hold of someone like Adil Rashid or Mike Munday if at all possible (and if they're not in the England squad) and hopefully we'll have a match-winner for years to come.

I think it's fairly safe to say that we're keeping Yousuf? But If not get an overseas Spinner.

We need a new spinner. Keedy is ancient and can still do a job in ODIs but when i bowled him in tests he was useless. Get a hold of someone like Adil Rashid or Mike Munday if at all possible (and if they're not in the England squad) and hopefully we'll have a match-winner for years to come.

Yeh the spinner was a real problem. I ended up setting the pitch to favouring the quicks and playing five pace bowlers of varying speeds eventually. Fingers crossed the contracts will throw up at least one of Munday or Rashid, or even a Saqlain Mushtaq or Murtaza Hussain, both of whom I've found to be effective.

I think it's fairly safe to say that we're keeping Yousuf? But If not get an overseas Spinner.

If everyone wants to keep Yousuf I guess we should, hes relatively cheap (about 70k) compared to a few other players that are certainties to score well. The only issue would be if no English spinners are released - in that case would a spinner be our preference for the overseas player?

Nah I'm definitely in favour of keeping hold of Yousuf. There's no point in plugging a hole if you have to create a new one in order to do it.
