Which teams are in the World Cup, and are they accurate? eg. Do Scotland and Ireland have their county players in it?
From what I can remember it was

10 test playing nations plus-

Kenya
Namibia
USA
UAE
Holland and
Canada

Bangladesh was grouped with India, Sri Lanka and Kenya and won all three games. They then beat West Indies and New Zealand in the Super 8's. They missed the semi-finals on net run-rate.

Boo hoo, now it says 1 day trial has finished, and I haven't even got to play the game yet :(
Yeah mine's finshed too - only played a few matches which, for free, was fine I suppose. Bit harsh on those who download it the night before and then can't play it the following morning though.

I certainly recommend ICC2005 to anyone who doesn't at least have ICC2002.

I'm not at all disapointed in ICC2005 as I didn't expect it to be drastically different. It has been tweaked and had a facial, but it certainly ISN'T a whole new game. I hope everyone understands that.

Here is my review after playing 2 years of the game. Please post your reviews as well.

1) Graphics look worse than the ones in 2001. For some reason they seem to be dull.

2) Good layout though. Took sometime to get used to, but it seems more user friendly than the previous one. Especially stuff like current rankings, Selecting and deselecting the players now is possible on the same screen.

3) No. of ODI's have gone up, and most teams seem to play similar number of games in the same season.

4) But STILL no Four way ODI tournaments like the Sharjah cup or the Asia Cup.

5) No Champions Trophy!!

6) India play no ODI tournaments in my second season.

7) Players not updated, Pathan has played no international matches. Mahendra Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik don't seem to have a lot of potential. Clarke also doesn't seem to have correct test records.

8) Still not enough 6's. In 11 ODI's I hit about 4 sixes!!

I'll post more when I play more into the game

Literally? I guess you're right. Being objects, they were never alive to begin with :) But I think he means on console. I doubt it...

i know ital is in the game cause nic pothaus plays for hants and italy in his stats
There's another Italian player in the game too.

Both wrong of course. Pothas is South African playing on a Greek passport. The other Italian guy should be a West Indian under the Kolpak ruling.

The other problem is the game gets confused with Kolpak players and players playing on an EU passport. There is a significant difference.
