Career Records Required!

Thankyou to all that have contributed to this point in time. Some great records and some phenomenal feats from individuals. However, no-one besides Jae has submitted career records. So I am sending a message to one and all to send in your best batsman, best fieldsmen, keepers, bowlers and all rounders.

I am looking for these records at all levels:
- All-Rounder (most runs with most wickets) eg. Bill Shrimpton 8615 runs/520 wickets
- Best Bowling Average (1000 balls bowled) eg. Max Kline 22.43
- Best Career Economy Rate (1000 balls bowled) eg. Ashley Giles 2.56 per over
- Most 100s eg. Dan Cottam 41 hundreds
- Most Career Catches (Non-WK) eg. Dan Cottam 337 catches
- Most Career Dismissals (WK) eg. Geoffrey Stewart 327 dismissals
- Most Career Matches eg. Chris Tremlett 235 matches
- Most Career Runs eg. Dan Cottam 16350 runs
- Most Career Wickets eg. Chris Tremlett 1071 wickets

All of these are my records at FC level. I think these are reasonable records but there has to be better out there. So send 'em in!

Ah, the good old control alt del trick.

Better put Messer Brown on the tracking radar for this season....

Something about this average doesn't add up. When I work out averages you divide the runs by the innings. But when I do this, I get a lesser average.

6621 runs /
120 innings (innings minus no's)
= 55.175

The closest to this average is if Brown scored 6621 runs in 73 innings.

Bradman's average was 99.94. So let's try my method again.

6996 test runs /
70 innings (innings minus no's)
= 99.9429

All I can say is hmmm...

Trescothick's yet to retire, but I'm entering him for:

Most Test Runs
Most ODI's
Most ODI Centuries

I've never used Tresco as a keeper, but he kept in ODI's before I started :)

But he's never kept in Tests, so make what you will out of him :p

quite possibly the most test wickets and lowest average. he took so many FC wickets that his average reset. he piled up over 3000!
