The West Indies win the Test Series 2 Tests to 0.
The victory was built around the double century from Christopher Gayle, a majestic innings. Then 2 solid bowling efforts, including great bowling from Dwayne Bravo, made sure that victory was secured.
The team now move on to the IndianOil Cup, with India joining the two teams, we'll see you with SmashHighlights(A Cricket Web Trademark) of the first match soon.

When I played a game with the Windies, I noticed that Bravo is a pretty decent bowler but not much cop with the bat. One of the best pacemen I had was Collymore, who was very consistent, picking up 5 or 6 wickets a Test without fail at a decent average too. Best, Lawson, Edwards, Collins, King (yes, I once even recalled him 
), Jeremy, Powell and Washington were all terribley erratic game to game let alone series to series. I can see why the WICB keeps desperatley rotating them all the time....

The West Indies have destroyed Singha in their OD warmup friendly, a supreme batting performance, racking up over 385 and then bowling their Sri Lankan oppononants out for 129. The spinner Cunningham (sorry, sean) picked up 3 wickets as did Lawson. In the batting Brian Lara hit a fantastic 115 off just 84 balls with 16 4's. But the Man of the Match went to Chris Gayle, 124 off 89 balls and a wicket as well, and the West Indians move into the IndianOil Cup on top form.

The West Indies have won their first match in the IndianOil Cup, beating India by 2 wickets, thanks to some solid efforts on a tricky pitch.
The Indians, who had won the first match of the series, against Sri Lanka, were bowled out for just 185, with Cunningham taking 3-42, Best and Bravo contributed 2 wickets, and Lawson and Gayle 1 apeice.
Gayle then came back with the bat and hit a powerful 61 off just 53 balls, but when he went apart from the odd start it was left down to Dwayne Bravo with a great battling 27 which secured the match,

Sri Lanka have beaten the West Indies by 91 runs in the Indian Oil Cup.
It was a spinning pitch, and the Caribean team had made 2 changes, Carl Hooper returning from injury, replacing Carlton Baugh, and Dave Mohammed replaced Jermaine Lawson.
Sri Lanka batted first and made 245/7, with 'keeper Kumar Sangakarra making a good century, in setting 246, with Best and Gayle taking 2 wickets each.
In reply, the West Indies had started quite well, Lara and Gayle taking them up to 68-1, after just 11 overs, but it wasn't to last, and they collapsed to 127-6 and from there to 154 all out. Gayle's 48 was the highest score, and the damage had been done by 4 men, Arangalla and Samaraweera with 3 wickets each, and Fernando and Muralitharan, with 2 a peice.
The West Indies and boss Jamee Gray will be dissapointed, as it's his first loss in charge, but with the win against India from the first match under their belts, they will be looking for a finals place.
