I gotta get some sleep, some time this week, man

So pleased that I can sleep tonight. Was awake for over 24 hours twice during the first match, felt like ****.

I probably won't be able to watch as much of the next one, for a few reasons, will do my best. The two after that though, eek, already nervous about how tired I'll be.

I think I regret getting up early this morning as ultimately nothing happened and tbh I missed the Katich dismissal live as I was making a cuppa...but I set my alarm for 4, thinking, I'll check the score, if there's anything happening then I'll get up. And we'd just started bowling after humiliating them with the blade...thought it worth a watch, just in case something special happened. Would do it again tbf.

I did the exact same thing, just missing the middle session. Wasn't that bad tbh, Ricky was pretty good to watch for anyone. The result was already gone so I was just enjoying the cricket.

TBH when KP came on I expected business to pick up but I was disappointed :(

BTW, shocking call on the penalty runs, further evidence that Dar was in the crims' pocket

Last night turned out the worst one for me, because there were so many milestones coming every 10 minutes or so I ended up thinking "I'll just stay up till the next one" - ended up going through to lunch and then not being able to sleep immediately.

Added problem is I'm now not tired either.

Feel human again this morning after a 10 hour sleep last night.Even missed watching the hideous cow get booted out of the jungle as i was so tired.

Wish the 2nd test was starting tonight i feel so fresh.

Off work tomorrow, Xmas Shopping in the morning and places to go in the afternoon & evening. Even though I'll still be getting up early, psychologically I will find it a lot easier to watch a fair bit tonight and feel okay tomorrow.

However, I have an interview on Tuesday, so we will need to get this game finished off in four days as I really can't stay up on Monday night :@

Only just recovered from the First Test and we march on to the Second. I'm going for the traditional "stay up till lunch and then see how we go" routine for pretty much the whole of this Test. No more heroic all-nighters from me, unless things get really tense.

Sleeping pattern has been utterly destroyed the last few days so glad cricket is back, gives it some semblance of structure. Earliest I have work is 4pm this week so should not be a problem watching most of it apart from a couple of morning sessions.

I'm back from work now, but still working. I'm going to be completely gone tomorrow. TGIF.

On the upside... I have got my SkyPlayer working on my work laptop, so that's all good. :)

My friend is off to Perth tomorow (lucky bastard) so I will have to rely on Sky Player for the next couple of tests, going to be a little harder staying awake now as well (and slighlty less shouting when Australia are 2/3.)

Messing about with caffeine ftw. Three hours sleep, this is going to catch up with me hard.
