Richard, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What's the point in linking me to a forbidden URL?
Haha, seems I linked you to the IP report rather than the report post feature. I'm sure you get the point though. :p

What, that it's best to report merger-suggestions?

In which case, expect 3 reported posts in the next half-hour...

Whats with the Ealham option?

Anyway, them 4 runs per over not bowled in tests, 6 in ODI's and 10 in T/20's

Mark Ealham, the greatest slogger of all time?

Looking for deliveries in the grandstands off a Mark Ealham six wouldn't help speed up over rates.

I propose scare tactics. Like putting dynamite in the shirts/pants of the players and if they don't achieve the minimum overs then BOOM!!!

And in case you don't know a (poor) joke when its dancing naked in front of you singing the national anthem, this post was in jest.

I don't think killing people for bowling slowly is a sustainable way to address the problem Flem...

aaah, ok, always thought he was a bowling all-rounder
 He is. And a damn good OD bowler at that.

Did sometimes hit a very, very long ball too, but nowhere near often enough in ODIs.

And the reason for his presence is that CWers like an irrelevant option in (most) polls.

And it's always Craig who votes for those options.
TBF, they're most commonly known as the "Dasa" option - he and Andy Cameron are those with the biggest fondness for them.

Craig tends to be the person who thinks-up the most original ones - then votes for 'em.

Another favourite of Dasa and Cameron is the selection of every single option - but multiple-choice polls are a rare treat. I like that one too.

Nothing but runs penalties will do it. Fines didn't work, suspending captains was tossed around I think and loss of ICC points doesn't seem as important, however I am not an international player/coach so I don't know. Runs penalties would probably be the way to solve it. 10 runs per over not bowled in a session would do.

Haha, I do like the "vote every function" thing they both do.

Dasa's been AWOL for a little while. Hope he returns.

Make two spinners compulsory for every team, and limit run ups to 10 paces.
Don't like the first suggestion. What if a team doesn't have full-time spinners or what if the conditions and pitch just aren't suited for spin? This would hurt the winning chances of many teams and only the teams with the best spinners (perhaps India atm with Kumble and Harbhajan) would benefit from this.
