How do Tahir and Ajmal stack up in ODIs

Most of the world doesn't play anything of any significance but CT and WC. This feels a bit like not rating Ajmal in tests because he didn't perform in the ashes.

That's one big reason that Warne gets rated above Murali isn't it? Because a lot more people are far more interested in the Ashes than in other test series.

I am not saying that makes Ajmal definitively better, just that it makes Ajmal more visible and easier to remember and adds to his image.

Assuming we allow his action its Ajmal by a country mile. His consistency against all nations is pretty amazing, only averaging over 30 against 1 team, who he played against once. Tahir on the other hand seems to like to beat up on the weak but she the going gets a bit tougher...

A visibility problem is common in rating players, but it is something we should avoid perpetuating.
