How can we prevent rain from ruining the day?

:laugh: That's so true! I guess the only reason i thought of this thread was because i was really annoyed yesturday! But, its true....we can chat about ways of preventing rain from ruining the day, but very little can be done about it! Unfortunetely, its just a part of cricket.
But don't u think that little factors, such as rain, do put of a lot of people from following cricket? I mean, all of us here are real cricket lovers, but football is still followed a lot more....and rugby is becoming quite popular these days. Why do u think this is?

Okay, Rugby and football are a lot shorter in length and so attract those who have shorter attention spans....but 20/20 is a shorter version of the game of cricket...but it still does not get as much attention as a game between Man city and ...i don't know....Aston Villa does!!!!!

That's because cricket overall isn't as popular and ALSO 20/20s are relatively new.
