he will be west indies cricket for the next 15 yearsYes I wasn't suggesting Dwayne Bravo to play alongside another all-rounder in the NZ series as he isn't in the squad, I was meaning long term. I'm not Bravo's biggest fan, he's undoubtedly a wholehearted performer, reasonably clever bowler with good use of a well disguised slower ball and economical. He can hold up an end pretty well, lacks any real penetration, but has good stamina and can bowl long spells.
He's a decent fielder, but I think his batting needs to step up to the next level. He's played only 31 Tests, so he is still coming to terms with Test cricket and learning how to construct bigger innings. Think the potential is there with the bat, but I hope to see more from him over the next 12 months. If his batting improves, then his bowling becomes a useful addition to his armoury.
Similar to Lara, IMO. In his 131 matches, he has played in 32 wins and about 61 losses... and still managed to emerge one of the best batsmen of all time.yeah they are, but that to me makes chanderpaul's effort all the more outstanding
That's nonsense. I've said it before, people made the mistake of judging Irani by cosmetics rather than actual skill. Irani was a reasonable ODI player, and many, many worse ones have played for England in the last 8 years.he was horrid, typical of the english system
He barely lasts 5 minutes whenever he bats.what's the problem with ramdhin ?
Because he is accurate and uses subtle changes of 'nibbles' to get batsmen out?How Collymore got wickets i will never know he is an absolutely pathetic bowler who nibbles it about on the seam and thats it.
Haha, apart from the fault that he harbours several major technical deficiencies in his allround game.Carlton Baugh has never been considered because he is an absolute joke he can not keep at all nor can he bat, at least with Ramdin you know there is a little talent there, he captained both Trinidad and the Windies at under 21 level sure he has been batting really poorly of late but this is probobly because he has been working on his keeping, he will improve once he gets a big score,
By the way Sarwan is a quality batsman and not 'just above the lowest level of what is expected as a test batsman' since he has come back from injury he has had brilliant series' in Sri lanka and India and posseses bucket loads of talent.
We got a lot of West Indian haters in the forum, you must be thinking of a different Sarwan to meHaha, apart from the fault that he harbours several major technical deficiencies in his allround game.
