Finally made it to the champions league final after losing in the semis five times, however we lost on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Lazio, then finished 3rd in the league and I got sacked. So the dream is over, not sure where I'm looking next, maybe Denmark or Sweden or even Poland look interesting.

here's the state of the current team of mine, excuse the weak league position, only played the first 2 games of the season, which were away to champions palermo and at home to milan. Finished last season in 4th and will soon embark on the champions league.

Struggling so far in my second season. Currently 4th with Utd. Tricky form so far but still only a couple points beind the leaders so can still make up for it. 2nd in CL group winning one and losing one. Out of the CC after going down to Everton with my fringe players in extra time.
During saving my computer froze. Had written this post while playing. Had to restart and my game restarted to just before the Everton game. :D Played a similar team and won there. Instead of getting results to get 4th I'm curently 2nd, 2 or 3 points behind Arsenal, and drew my CL game so 1st there.

Got bored of winning everything with Inter, so I started up a new game as manager of Cittadella in Serie C1/A. I'm aiming for promotion this season, either automatic or via the play-offs.

Hmm, FM, can make you laugh and cry in one go.

Drew at home to Arsenal, lost at OT, and at home to Liverpool, means from 7 games so far against the big 4, grabbed 2 points, which aint too bad for Sunderland. Failed to win in 7 though (did draw at home to Newcastle, meaning 4 points off them), before smacking the Boro 3-0 in Smogland (6 points off them for the year, so good form in the derbies). However, Shaun Maloney, who scored a hat-trick in said game, is now out for a month with a groin strain picked up with 2 minutes to go. Fletchers still about 3 weeks of fitness, so my forward line's been a bit hammered with injuries (as have a few other key players, Ian Harte's only just come back)

And to top it off, got linked to both the Livorno and Udinese jobs on the same day

Edit: 2 days later, and Atalanta want me, must be doing something right

Well, just did what i swore i wouldnt do, and thats play defensive to hold a 1-0 lead. Hate it when teams take a 1-0, then sit back and hope to hold it, but y'know, 60 minutes gone and i'm beating Chelsea 1-0, 5-4-1 had to be done.

Ended up winning 2-0 :) Black Cats on a roll.

Go defensive if I'm using a lower level team, otherwise I just go to normal as I play just a bit below all out attack.

Think I'll have a go tonight, have had a couple of days' break and need to get it back together, it has been a poor start to my season thus far

Just signed Luis Figo on a free  Not sure if the average age of my time is the oldest in Prem history, got Costacurta playing at the minute

2009/10 at one point saw this table:

Pos Team Pld Won Drn Lst For Ag Won Drn Lst For Ag Pts
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st Morton 14 5 2 1 11 5 3 3 0 9 4 29
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd Rangers 13 4 2 0 12 1 3 3 1 10 6 26
3rd Celtic 13 4 1 1 11 4 3 1 3 10 11 23
4th Ayr 14 5 1 1 17 6 1 2 4 5 12 21
5th Dundee 14 4 3 1 13 7 0 3 3 5 8 18
6th St. Johnstone 13 3 4 0 10 7 1 2 3 5 7 18
7th Motherwell 12 2 3 1 7 4 2 2 2 7 7 17
8th Livingston 13 4 0 2 11 8 1 1 5 8 17 16
9th Hibs 13 2 2 2 10 9 1 1 5 6 12 12
10th Aberdeen 12 2 2 2 6 7 1 1 4 3 13 12
11th Dunfermline 13 1 3 2 4 5 1 2 4 5 12 11
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12th Hearts 14 2 1 4 7 11 0 3 4 1 10 10

Unfortunately it did not last as I fell away to finish 6th, same as last year. Bit of strengthening in the summer, and I think we can challenge for one of the three CL spots that Scotland currently have (as a result of Celtic's European exploits).

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but have decided to try my luck in France, starting with Clermont in the National. Made a decent start, taking 10 points from my first 4 games and getting through two rounds of the League Cup against L2 opponents - the first game went to ET and the second to penalties but made it through both :)

For the first time, I've managed to sign Charles-Andre Doudin who's supposed to be a bit of a legend, so hopefully he'll score plenty of goals for me.
