most of the german clubs are rich (this is on 01/02 btw) the game is up to 2089/90. Most of the big clubs have stadiums over 200,000 and make a lot of money easily. ive managed Schalke 3 times on this game, first time when i left they had about 3b pounds, when i went back about 20 seasons later the finances always stayed at 0, but i effectively had as much to spend as i wanted, this time the finances is at about 2.46b or something similar.

yeh some regens ive seen up to 9 or 10 times, guys like Rosicky, Kezman etc... who generally come through at the age of 25+ can have a new regen every 6 or 7 seasons.

01/02 doesnt have an age for the manager.

yes indeed, but none the less on this occasion he is right, it is FM2006, new season just starting, made the signings of mark gonzalez and tiago motta to strengthen the side, have to see how it goes.

on the subject on high transfer fees and rich clubs, pothas and i were playing cm01/02 with real madrid once and signed nesta for about £20m, then lazio came asking for him back a few seasons later, with pothas being unwilling to sell he set the asking price to £100m for a joke assuming that they woudlnt pay it, but they actually came back with a bid of that amount and signed him, strange, not sure how lazio could pay that as at the time they had no champs league qualification on the game and thats more than most clubs make in a season..

I remember when Barca went to sell Thiago Motta they had 22 clubs who wanted to sign him and all put offers in.

From Newcastle, Charlton, Blackburn, Hamburg, other German, French, Italian, Scottish, English and other Spanish clubs wanted him. Boca Juniors and I think either Ajax or PSV also submitted a bid.

Downloaded a 1989 mod for FM06, its good to go back to the glory days of the latics. Unbeaten in preseason with Ritchie and Bunn firing them in for fun, though i think a 3-0 demolition of Inter was a tad unrealistic, we were good, but not that good.

Started a new game with Tottenham.

Mainly been selling, but I brought Nicolas Burdisso, Anthony vanden Borre, Scott Carson on loan and I think somebody else.

I tried to sign Dirk Kuyt for over 9m pounds yet he was happy to stay at Feyenoord and couldn't believe Erwin Koeman would accept a fee for him. I was offering around 50k a week when he is on apprix. 13k a week at Feyenoord. Idiot.

I really need a left wing, another fullback or two (left and right) and if I got another striker that would be nice. But I have 11m left, I will find what I need.

I started a new game just the other day, running England, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Holland, Portugal, and Australia.

I began unemployed and by December 2005 only I was offered the NEC job. Seeing their expectations were for me to avoid relegation, I'm pretty happy having finished the season in 7th and getting into Europe.

i just started a new game witha ll new player transfers etc. got liverpool, 9 games into it and running 4th. chelsea are just tooo good......there side is just amazing. its chelsea, man utd, arsenal , myself and blackburn. a tough season.

He's always been average in my games. What version though?

CM4. I dealt Wright-Phillips for him and he prospered greatly. 9 or 10 rating in just about every game he was fit for.
