Think I've Hobbs/Hutton/Hammond all in my top 10 tooHammond is probably a top 10 test batsman while Sutcliffe might just miss out
Can I have your top 10 list?I have all 4 tbh.

Same. Barrington at 5 and then probably Root at 6 for me.think I've Hobbs>Hutton>Hammond>Sutcliffe
I'll be quite dissapointed if he doesn'tSame. Barrington at 5 and then probably Root at 6 for me.
Compton, May, Boycott the next three in some order. Brook should end up in the top 10.
The disrespect for Ken BarringtonRoot will probably go past Barrington, his era has been tougher than 60s but I don't know how to get to top 4 without an ATG Aus series, that's like, a requirement.
Hey I like him, just being realisticThe disrespect for Ken Barrington
Lets face it, Ashes is kind of important for Aus/Eng bats.Hey I like him, just being realistic
this the logic some old ass man in London would use for Boycott>PontingLets face it, Ashes is kind of important for Aus/Eng bats.
Root in Ashes 65 innings 2428 @ 40.46
Barrington in Ashes 39 innings 2111 @ 63.96
I really dislike this term, or how its used. Some arguments for Joe Root over Ken Barrington
- He has played more Tests. Thought it is not really Ken’s fault less tests were played back then.
- Faced more quality teams. Ind, Pak and NZ were minnows back in the 1960s. The only two good teams back then were Aus and WI.
