Hated Players

The only cricketer I would say I've ever come close to "hating" would be Arjuna Ranatunga. No idea of sportsmanship, brought the game into disrepute, manhandled umpires, always asked for a runner at the earliest opportunity, and to cap it all off, he beats up schoolboys. Nobody else comes close.

Some of Ganguly's time-wasting and concentration-breaking tactics can get on my nerves, but it's all part of the game, and it's nothing worse than Ian Chappell would have done.

Arjuna was'nt this much bad. I hate him though due to his structure .

Sourav is supposed to be like that cuz he has too face one of the worst sports relating media criticsm back home . Sourav is a good person and a good captain any one agrees ?

I mean any Indian Captain would have done the same things I guess . Its hard to face Indian media for any Indian Captain . If I were him may be I would have done the things that he is doing regardless of personal humanities etc . Sorry if I am wrong .

I dislike alot of players in the game.......Ganguly for being a time waster and really annoying with his field placings, Michael Clarke for getting out far too often when he is needed in the middle, Shane Warne for taking a diuretic, VVS Laxman for not getting out when Australia wanted him out and Steve Waugh for playing a stupid shot when it was not necessary!

I see that a lot of u ppl dont like ganguly. Well too bad. You just can't take the fact that an indian refuses to be "nice."

Apart from Matthew "Chewing Cud" Hayden, I also don't like Andrew Symonds. There is something about the guy which is not right.

I agree, murali seems to play the game in a good spirit in that he enjoys the competitiveness of a battle with a bowler, trying to work out a way of beating them, but not to the extreme of soemone like nel, bit too agressive in my book, though still funny.

In an interview for the Wisden Cricketer he had a sh**** attitude, then the guy even asked him about it, and he basically said he doesnt care about his attitude, or something along those lines, a pretty irresponsible thing to say from a pro sportsman...

And i despise the way he comes in smiling and laughing at number eleven, in a test match for gods sakes... If I was the opposing captain, id be infuriated and I think Andre Nel or someone would do him some damage in that sitution.. :!( Really gets me annoyed...

Jealousy? I've stated many a time that Andre Nel is a very talented bowler. I even said that I thought he was better than Ntini in the recent Test series, which was probably a bit overboard.

Sorry, wasn't referring to you, was talking about murali and how some people are trying to make out how he is a bad sportsman, "laughing at the crease" etc, whatever that is supposed to show i do not know.

I don't hate anyone but there a few guys I dislike:

Glenn McGrath (Very arrogant thinks he's the best around)
Brett Lee (Sometimes behaves like an animal and bowls more aggresively than intelligently)
Andrew Flintoff (I admit he is a good talent, he just really annoys me when he hits sixes without much effort!)

There are a few more I could mention, but then I'm not a negative person. All cricketers playing for their country must be given credit for their ability, but how they conduct themselves and interact with others, earns them respect.
