"Hate" is way too strong a word, but I do take against players who rub me up the wrong way. Regular readers will probably know I'm not Graeme Smith's biggest admirer; he has a tendancy to tell tales out of school (which always strikes me as the wrong way to go about things), he famously gave evidence against Mick Vaughan at a hearing & when Hoggy was making him his bunny in 04/05 he bravely responded by lowering himself in the order.

I also reckon Brad Hodge is a bit of a tool; pushes his own cart waaay too hard and sounds like a bit of a dill in interviews.

I've marked Matt Prior's card too; STFU occasionally!!!

Don't understand the Ranatunga hate from the Aussies?
Wasnt he the captain in 96?

oh and i dont like jeetan patel:)
There are a lot of reasons really, mainly concerning his attitude, sportsmanship and general demeanour, that I don't have time to go into now but hope one of my fellow Aussies might. As for being captain in '96 - yes he was, but he was heavily disliked in Australia before that World Cup win.

Oh no you didn't

Ah well can't win em all.
You could just break their legs.

For me I don't hate per se, but I disliked Carl Hooper, pompus primma donna he was as a cricketer. Showed his true colours that he baled from the team a few days before playing a Test match because he couldn't take it that Lara had replaced him as captain. If he felt that way, why not get out earlier?

As good as his cricketing ability I can not stand Shane Warne. I just wished somebody had thrown a punch at him a long time ago.

may not like warne's 'off field antics', but you gotta admire everything else

Actually it is his on-field antics. Gun bowler and I have him in my all-time XI, doesn't mean I think he comes across as a prat. What he does off-field is none of my business, he is allowed to sleep with whoever he wants.

Bottles his own bathwater I've heard.

Wholeheartedly agree though, he's a tool.

Temptation to respond is irresistible, but it's all been said before. :)

Vincents propensity to score well against Australia, and several comments he's made in the past, oh and his bulldog-esque face, are several things i hold against him. Not sure why i don't like McCullum, i just don't....
