Not the result of a game, but was almost brought to tears by a dismissal. Not going to say which one.
Was the worst experience watching that. Even now when I dig out the DVD, knowing the forces of darkness were vanquished, it isn't jolly viewing.Nah but I did feel physically sick watching Australia seemingly closing in on victory at Edgbaston in 2005
This.Ind vs SriLanka 96 WC. I was 10 years old then.
Yeah, I agree. Its like watching a chase scene in a film you've seen before; you know they make it okay but still cringe and convince yourself they are going to get caught. Was the worst experience watching that. Have to take your hats off to Warne, Kasper & (especially) Lee but Christ they enjoyed some spawn that day. As the overs went by and more and more boundaries were edged down to third man the whole occasion looked like it had taken on a momentum of its own.

Wait until Benchy reads thisNever, but when I was young I used to cry quite a bit after Richmond losses.
You are absolutely right of course, but I still think it's a good thread.Yeah too right mate, its just crazy. People need some perspective. After I almost lost my little boy Tom to a near fatal liver disease ( he was miraculously saved with 3 hours to live on xmas eve 3 years ago) I'll never be upset over any cricket match result again.
