Has the result of a cricket match ever made you cry ? If yes, which one ?

Was the worst experience watching that. Even now when I dig out the DVD, knowing the forces of darkness were vanquished, it isn't jolly viewing.
Have to take your hats off to Warne, Kasper & (especially) Lee but Christ they enjoyed some spawn that day. As the overs went by and more and more boundaries were edged down to third man the whole occasion looked like it had taken on a momentum of its own.
Felt like it was going to be a typical English jib after looking home and hosed.

Yeah, I agree. Its like watching a chase scene in a film you've seen before; you know they make it okay but still cringe and convince yourself they are going to get caught.

I didn't so much cry, but I was rather pissed off, and boy did I cop some **** the next day:

New Zealand's tour of Bangladesh in 2008 is also a prime candidate as well. FMD that was so frustrating. I could easily justify supporting Australia if I wanted to, but I choose to be loyal to the country of my birth, and it's enough to test one's patience at times.
If I were Pakistani, I probably would have given up on cricket by now.

You are absolutely right of course, but I still think it's a good thread.
tbh I've never cried about a cricket match, although following England over the years has frequently left me fuming. It's probably a good job that Adelaide 2006 didn't happen 30 years earlier, or it would have left the sort of mental scars associated with our footy side throwing away a 2 goal lead against W. Germany in the 1970 WC.
Funny enough, I get more emotional about the good times. Day 5 at the Oval in 2005 probably had me as close to tears as I've ever been over a cricket game. Or sometimes it's just an individual performance. I remember being dead choked at Gower's 100s in Australia in 1986 and 1990, simply because I felt he had been totally shafted by the management in the months leading up to these series, and it was great to see him proving a point or two.
