True that De Silva made some shockers, but shockers have been made by others in the past and will probably continue to be made in the future.
A few bad decisions in a series is acceptable, but 6-7 decisions per match is just way too much for cricket to continue in any form of normalcy.The umpire responsible for it should be tossed out.Period.

Fair Enough. Such an umpire should surely be asked to reconsider.
My point was that poor umpiring has always existed - and that is true, right?

I remember two against Dravid and Ganguly and one against Srinath and Zaheer. And all these were made by Ashoka. He made some others against WI which i can't remember and one or two more against Indian Batsman as well.
