PlayerComparisons

International Vice-Captain
I also don't really count Anderson's pre 2010 record, injuries had ****ed his action, once he returned to his older one he was gun for 12-13 years and over hundreds of matches
Yea that’s why I think he’s a tier 3 great even though his record is a lot worse than those guys

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
It must suck being an Indian or Australian batsman today and knowing however well you bat it’ll not be as good as Harry’s innings. Such is life

PlayerComparisons

International Vice-Captain
Brook could potentially be the first Eng player to make my combined Aus-Eng xi since 1970

Hayden
Ponting
Smith
Chappell
Border
Waugh
Gilchrist
Warne
Cummins
Lillee
McGrath

So Brook would need to be better than Border/Waugh or he could come in for Hayden.

Johan

International Debutant
Yea his averages aren’t the issue. I think it’s his WPM and strike rate that holds him back (same with Pollock and Walsh).
we need like a percentage distribution method, I think Jimmy always took out the top order and was very impactful on matches because of that while some bowlers like starc target lower order a lot.
