That's interesting....

What I'm also heartened about is the fact that this is a combined Irish team, including players from both Eire and Northern Ireland. I know Dublin and Belfast, but can you tell me where the other places are?
Apart from the O'Brien brothers and Mooney, they're all from the North. Gary Wilson went to my school and Kyle McCallan works about a mile from where i live.

Thanks, Uppercut....

I think it was poor of Vettori to accuse of Gul of ball-tampering, just because he found it hard to believe that he could get so much reverse swing.
Where's your proof, Daniel?

Actually I thought Vettori merely observed that Pakistani bowlers managed to reverse it around the 12th over. But then newspaper reports have come up with Pakistani players registering their protest against Vettori’s alleged complaint with the match referee. If it is true, then it is extremely poor form from Vettori. I wish he could check out the Aus in India test series in which Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma were managing reverse from as early as the 8th or 10th overs. Same was the case with Ashes 2005.

Pakistan win the toss and elect to bat. I hope they get to at least 170 and then let Gul and the spinners apply the pressure. We need to get us some revenge! :) Let's win it for Woolmer boys!

Johnston not at his best, it's fair to say.

38/1 at the end of the PP & 20 came off his 2nd over.

West still not full enough.

Not full enough? Considering every shot is being played off the front foot I suspect he's too full if anything. He's bowling like it's a test match. Toss it up, get them driving. Needs a bit more pace.

Akmal was coming down the track to get to the pitch of the ball & meet it on the full. Wouldn't have had the option if it was fired in at his toes.

Easy game from me sofa.

Have only just switched on now, but I heard them say on SSN before that ireland could still go through. What needs to happen for that to occur (sorry if it's already been explained)?

That's because he's bowling too slowly, not because he's bowling too full.

Hell to freeze over.
