What the hell is Kewell complaining about, the clearest pen and red card you'll ever see.

Looks a bit dubious on a second viewing, still funny mind you.

Crag Moore defended like absolute garbage in the lead up to the corner that lead to the goal mind you. Let Gyan past him with absolutely minimal resistance. Would lay the blame at his feet and the rest of the defence for failing to clear the corner before the ball found it's way through to the back post tbh.

It happened in less than a millisecond and his hands were by his sides. They get given occasionally, but they get let go just as easily. Massive call goes against us again.

Pretty much what most of us have been saying about him since he got picked in the original 30, is a complete liability in defence.

Flabbergasted tho, I get the penalty, but certainly not the card.

Hardly, this sort of thing (rightly or wrongly) is almost always given as a penalty. Stop whining. The whole world is not against you.

Well, if the ref has given it as a penalty, he must have considered it to be hand to ball, rather than ball to hand, and as such is a blatant attempt to stop the ball with the hand, and thus a blatant attempt at cheating. Coupled with the fact that it prevented a goal (sort of) and he was the last man, he pretty much had to go.

Think it's the denying of a goalscoring op that makes the difference. Handling a goal-bound shot is definitely that.

Don't think it was especially contentious, myself. The pen Oz didn't get a worse decision, IMHO.

Hmm fair 'nuff. Can't bring myself to blame Kewell for it though, should never have been a shot in the first place :(
