I was talking about Beamer saying "his" team, which I had no clue what that was. Never even looked at your profile until you called me out for not knowing what teams posters support so lets not make it about you
Beamer is the voice of Caribbean cricket on here though. He's one of two people who posts domestic/age group cricket updates from the West Indies.

This isn't Reddit where most users display their team affiliations. Here, we're likely a tighter-knit community. It takes time to become familiar with the posters, which is how we can infer their loyalties (unless you're @cnerd). The atmosphere is more relaxed, and I appreciate this approach.
Just logging back in and am bemused this was a thing. I have been posting here for ages, Shannon Gabriel is my profile pic. Your post is spot on. Still, maybe I should change my name to Wifan or Steelpan.....

Great fight from PNG, just couldn't close it off.

Roston Chase a dubious pick in the squad but did the job yesterday. Good catch, valuable runs, could have bowled better tho

I know it was a small target and west indies won the game in the end, but not a big fan of how they approached that chase. They fell back into that "Push to the fielder or try and hit a 6" method of t20 batting and it really ****ed them up. You have to be looking for singles more in a chase like that. PNG did that at the back end of there innings and it was successful.

How dre russ played at the back end of the innings was a perfect example of how they need to play more. When he got a bad ball he absolutely smashed it out the ground, back he was also willing to use the gaps in the field and find 1's and 2's off decent balls.

saw roston chase in that t20 series vs aus this year and the recent sa t20 series...actually looks like a gun player in this format...seems to contribute with important runs, spells, catches in all outings

as a new zealand fan.... west indies and afg are looking very tough to deal with...windies will come into their own very soon

Like the look of Brian Masaba - intrigued if any T20 franchises will be looking at the associate players - you'd presume they'd learn a lot playing with better players - I guess its a tough one if you are a coach who is under pressure to get results now but feels like there are associate players that could turn out to be great investments.

Imagine saying someone would get MOTM in a t20 game for 33(56) coming into this tournament. Wild stuff.
Was wrongly awarded in my opinion, Shah could only play like that because of the work the bowlers did.

It should have been given to the off spinner Frank Nsubugu who took 2/4 in 4 overs..
He didnt play the first game so he was making WC debut for Uganda at the age of 43, he made his first team debut for Uganda in 1997, would have been more fitting to give this guy the award.

Oh cool we're playing crocket. A little late to get into this tournament, wonder what's happened so far. Seems Pakistan are doing well.
